Urgent Appointments – Same Day Help
If you feel your problem is urgent and cannot wait, we offer same-day access for urgent medical issues (Monday to Friday) during opening times.
- Submit a Request using our secure Online Form
- Call the surgery on 01384 566 651 – our team will guide you appropriately
- Visit during opening times and our reception team will help if you are unable to call
We aim to ensure that patients with urgent needs are reviewed the same day. Our team will triage your request and ensure you’re directed to the most appropriate clinician.
Evening and Weekend Appointments (Extended Access)
We also offer appointments outside of core hours through our local extended access service. Ask our reception team for details.
Routine Appointments – Book Ahead
Routine appointments are for non-urgent issues or planned care, such as medication reviews, long-term condition management, or general advice.
You can:
- Use our Online Form for non-urgent concerns
- Call the surgery on 01384 566 651 to speak with our team and book in advance
- Request follow-up appointments when advised by your clinician
These appointments can be booked days or weeks in advance, and we encourage all patients to plan ahead when possible.

- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) or Patient Access to book a blood test, order your repeat medication and update your contact details

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.

- Tuesday – 8.30am to 6.30pm
- Wednesday – 8.30am to 7.55pm
- Thursday – 8.30am to 6.30pm
- Friday – 8.30am to 6.30pm
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- using the GP online system: Patient Access
- phone us on 01384 566 651 during opening times
- reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Enhanced Access
In the Brierley Hill and Amblecote area practices are working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments. If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call the practice on 01384 566 651 and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours.
Your appointment may be with another practice in the Brierley Hill and Amblecote area and may not be at your registered practice.

If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:

Home visits
Please telephone the surgery on 01384 829 150 before 11:30 if possible.
Home visits are only for patients that are too ill to attend the surgery, please try to come to the surgery whenever possible.
You will be asked your name, address, telephone number and some questions about your symptoms for the doctors information. Please be prepared to give these details when asked by a receptionist.
Your call will be put through to a doctor to assess the urgency of the visit and when they feel it is necessary for the visit to take place.
